You know, I had no idea of my badges until just a moment ago

The badges was changed a short time ago, these are new badges, stay active and you'll get plenty more.

They don't have to hit you with them all at once.  Just silently assign them as earned, just as in the past. I got 33 badges today. It seems they have decided to award them all on the last day of the month, as they did last month. They are darn ugly, too.

They are participation badges. You get them by contributing to the community. You can see what they are and how many you accumulated by going to your profile page.

This has become a total nightmare

Just an update, I ended up fixing it myself. It ended up being a side loaded root kit. It was full of a p k files.... :fire::fire::fire:
