Duplicate active apps

When I look at all my active apps to close them there are duplicates of all the apps. In other words if I have 3 apps open it shows 6 (2 of each). If I close the 3 apps I have 0. 

 

Anyone run into this? Or have a solution?

Click on the button for the active apps and it will show which apps are open.
